The magic wraps up on Saturday, April 12th, at 12 PM, after we slow things down with a guided journaling practice, enjoy some Buck Wild Coffee, and listen to live music. The perfect way to cap off an unforgettable weekend!

The Naked Truth: The Famous Naked LapTell me more about this ‘naked lap’ thing...

Ah yes, the infamous naked lap! It’s totally optional, but if you’re feeling bold, it’s happening at 12:30 PM on Friday. We suggest bringing a robe (or you can grab a Boot Tan Fest one), and embrace the thrill of riding the slopes in true Buck Wild style!

Skiing & Riding: Private Lifts, Anyone? When will the lifts be open?

On Friday, from 10 AM to 3 PM, the lifts are all ours. That’s right, it’s a private event—only women and femmes who are Boot Tan Fest attendees will be on the slopes. Time to shred with the crew!

Can I ski 24/7?!

For the hardcore uphill skiers—YES! Uphill ski access is available around the clock, so if you’re feeling like a sunrise or moonlit climb, you can get after it any time.

Camping: Hardcore or BustIs camping included?

Absolutely! Your pass includes camping Thursday and Friday nights. You can arrive any time after 3 PM on Thursday, and the good times start rolling with live music and a panel. The campsite will be buzzing with adventure vibes and free beer—don’t miss out!

Is it going to be cold?

Let’s just say, you’re going to get the full winter camping in a ski resort parking lot experience. It will be cold. Bring your van, truck, zero-degree sleeping bags, and all the warm clothes you own. Practice being hard-core with us!

Food & Drink: Fuel for the FestivitiesWill there be food?

Of course! The lodge will be open as usual, serving up food and drinks, and we’ll also have multiple food trucks on-site to satisfy all your cravings.

Is there beer?

Yep! Free beer, live music, and camping—it’s all part of the Boot Tan Fest experience. You won’t go thirsty!

Is the festival novice friendly?

Heck yeah! Sunlight Mountain Resort has terrain for all ability levels - All levels are welcome to this location and Sunlight has rental equipment.

Will there be skills clinics?

Nope! This is purely for playing around with new & old friends on skis & snowboards.

Does anyone ever join the festival solo?

Hell yeah, they do! Sometimes that’s the best way to meet new friends :) We want you there!

Are non-binary & trans folks welcome?

Absolutely. All women and femme folk over the age of 21 are welcome to join the festival.

Can my dog come to the festival or campground?

We love dogs, but due to the insanity that would ensue, we ask that you leave your pups at home.

What if it snows or the weather is crummy?

The festival will go on as scheduled and we will practice being hardcore.

What is camping like?

This is WINTER camping. It’s cold, it’s diehard, and it’s fun! Come prepared. Sleeping in your Subaru? You’ll need a 0-degree bag & plenty of warm clothes. Vans & campers are highly encouraged.

What do I need to bring with me?

Make sure that you have all of your ski/board gear (rentals are available), water, snacks, and anything else that you would bring on a normal day at a ski resort!
