Boot Tan Fest Code of Conduct

At Boot Tan Fest, our priority is to create a safe and inclusive environment where all participants can enjoy themselves. We value respect, consent, and the well-being of our fellow festival-goers. Please take a moment to read and sign our code of conduct.

1. Respect for All Participants

  • Treat every participant with kindness, respect, and dignity, regardless of their background, appearance, or skill level.
  • Use inclusive language and be mindful of the impact of your words and actions on others.
  • Respect personal boundaries. Always ask for permission before engaging in physical contact.

2. Consent and Privacy

  • Obtain explicit consent before taking photos or videos of others.
  • Respect individuals' choices regarding their comfort level with nudity and personal privacy.
  • Do not take photos or videos of the "large naked lap" without the clear and enthusiastic consent of all participants involved.
  • Be aware that most people own smartphones; Boot Tan Fest is not responsible for event content shared on social media by third parties. 

3. Photography and Social Media

  • Share photos or videos on social media only with the explicit consent of the individuals depicted.
  • If someone asks you not to post or to remove a photo, respect their wishes promptly.
  • Avoid sharing photos or videos that may compromise anyone's privacy or security.

4. Safe and Inclusive Environment

  • Help create a welcoming and safe atmosphere for all. If you witness any form of harassment, report it to event staff or security immediately.
  • Use the designated event spaces for all activities and respect the festival's rules and regulations.
  • Support fellow participants in a spirit of camaraderie and friendship.

5. Responsible Drinking and Substance Use

Drink responsibly and know your limits. If you choose to consume alcohol or other substances, do so safely and in moderation.

Do not pressure others into consuming alcohol or substances if they are not comfortable.

Follow all relevant local laws and event policies regarding substance use.6. Sustainability and Leave No Trace

  • Help us maintain the beauty of the natural surroundings by disposing of trash and recycling properly.
  • Respect wildlife and natural habitats; do not disturb or harm local wildlife.
  • Leave no trace of your presence; clean up after yourself and others.

7. Accountability

  • Understand that any violations of this code of conduct will result in immediate removal from the event without an option for refund.
  • Event organizers and security personnel are here to assist you and ensure everyone's safety. Please cooperate with them at all times.

By attending Boot Tan Fest, you agree to abide by this code of conduct and help us create a memorable and respectful experience for all participants.
